Fiji One: Fiji Pearls Set for Intensive Training Matches Ahead of World Cup

The Fiji Pearls are gearing up for three days of intense training matches in preparation for the upcoming World Cup in Cape Town. The matches, scheduled to commence today on June 13th, will be held at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

The Fiji Pearls will be joined by their training partners, the Fiji Men’s team, and a New Zealand invitational team consisting mainly of players from the Central Pulse squad.

The training matches will feature four teams in total: two Fiji Pearls teams from the extended squad, the Fiji Men’s team, and the New Zealand invitational team.

Netball Fiji CEO, Vivian Koster, emphasized the importance of these training sessions in preparing the players for the World Cup. “It is crucial for our players to get more game time and exposure before the World Cup,” Koster stated…
