The European Union and partner agencies have provided funds valued at $133 million to 10 local projects in the Pacific Island region to strengthen climate change resilience.
Called the Kiwa Initiative, the partner agencies include the Agence française de développement (AFD), Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT).
