Tiare Henry-Anguna of Tupapa Maraerenga has been crowned Miss Cook Islands 2025, representing the islands of Enuamanu Atiu and Tumutevarovaro Rarotonga.
Last staged in 2019, the Miss Cook Islands Association successfully revived the national pageant this year, with the grand finale held on Saturday, at Rarotonga’s National Auditorium.
Tiare dedicated her win to her late father, who passed away in April 2024.
Following her win, she says she did it for him.
“I feel absolutely blessed and so grateful – for my pageant sisters, my family and especially my dad,” Tiare says.
“This is for you, Dad – thank you.”
Zoe Hoff was named first runner-up, while Matangaro Tarabay was second runner-up, rounding out a strong field of seven contestants in what proved to be a vibrant comeback for one of the Pacific’s most cherished pageants.
Tiare will now prepare to represent the Cook Islands at the 73rd Miss World Festival in 2026.
Meanwhile, Zoe will travel to Tokyo, Japan, to compete in an international pageant on November 27, 2025, and Matangaro will represent the Cook Islands in Thailand next year.
