Tahiti has qualified for the quarterfinals of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Dubai following their 5-3 win over Spain in their second group match on Saturday.

The Tiki Toa trailed 3-nil before Roonui Tinirauarii scored twice as they fought back against a highly rated Spanish side, the OCF website said.

The Oceania representatives now have two wins in as many matches after they had disposed off Argentina 4-3 last Thursday.

Earlier Spain’s Dona became the first goalkeeper to score at the tournament when he rifled in Spain’s third goal in the second period, OFC reported.
