After a long period of uncertainty, the Vienna Philharmonic are exceptionally delighted to be able to perform this year’s Summer Night Concert Schönbrunn. The concert was originally scheduled for May but was postponed following the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the current situation and governmental regulations for the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vienna Philharmonic were forced to greatly reduce the number of spectators to this year's Summer Night Concert. The concert will be conducted by Valery Gergiev. As soloists you will hear Jonas Kaufmann with arias by Jules Massenet, Emmerich Kálmán and Giacomo Puccini. Since 2004, the Vienna Philharmonic has performed the Summer Night Concert in the unique ambience of the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens in Vienna.
