As part of the Blue Pacific 2050 Strategy, a framework for collective Pacific action, the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat (PIFS) has launched the #MyBluePacific2050 competition!
Get inspired by one of the Blue Pacific ambassadors, Dr. Nicole Yamase and acclaimed scientist Micronesian Ocean scientist from the Federated States of Micronesia.
She made history by becoming the first Micronesian and Pacific Islander to descend to Challenger Deep, the deepest part of the ocean located at the southern end of the Marianas Trench. Check out her inspiring story here.
