What is the competition?
The theme for Matariki this year is Matariki Kāinga Hokia – Matariki Calls You Home.
Create a 90 second video explaining who you would bring home and why and be in to win a $1,500 travel voucher, Matariki hoodie, and a Matariki t-shirt.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to everyone aged 16 and above.
When is the competition?
The competition entry period is from July 1, 2023 to July 11, 2023. Entries outside this period will not be considered.
Nine pre-selected entries that meet the requirements of the competition (see Terms & Conditions) will be presented to a panel of judges. These 9 shall each receive a Matariki Hoodie and Tshirt.
From these 9, the judges will select 3 winners, based on creativity, originality and adherence to the theme of Matariki Kinga Hokia.
All 9 and the 3 winners will be notified by email and phone on July 14, 2023.
