SPREP is using GIS data to inform Pacific communities about the impacts of climate change.

Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are being used by SPREP to engage Pacific communities, combining traditional knowledge with data collection to educate them on the projected impacts of climate change and inform mitigation strategies.

Mareva Cameron spoke to Vani Koroisamanunu, Environmental GIS Specialist for SPREP about how it works and what it means for the Pacific.
