The Siva Afi Festival is back for its fourth year, showcasing traditional Samoan fire knife dancing and featuring international competitors in the all-female Siva Afi competition, as well as special guest performers and renowned experts. The festival will be held as part of the Auckland Arts Festival 2023 at the Mangere Arts Centre in Auckland, New Zealand on March 10th and 11th.
On the first day, visitors can witness the Wahine Toa Afi Competition, while the second day features the New Zealand Schools Siva Afi Competition. The festival opens its doors at 5pm each day, allowing visitors to explore the stalls and experience the vibrant tastes and displays of Pacific culture.
